Every evening from the 16th to the 20th of July from 9.30 pm
The Radisson Blu Hotel Nice is once again hosting the Nice Jazz Festival's official jam sessions!
Jazz and Nice: a story that has been constantly reinvented over 70 years... In 1948, it was in Nice, and not America, that the world’s first ever jazz festival was born, featuring Louis Armstrong and the Quintette du Hot Club de France. Since then, jazz has never stopped evolving. So many different cultures have influenced it throughout its history that the genre is almost undefinable. But one of its constant characteristics is its eternal connection with improvisation. Jam sessions have always been a mainstay of jazz in all its forms. During the Nice Jazz Festival, the Radisson Blu Hotel wants to update the jam sessions that have marked the festival's history for over a decade to prolong your evening to the end of the night! Like the jazz clubs in the biggest international capitals, the atmosphere will be festive and welcoming, enlivened by a local jazz band. Every evening promises its share of surprises, with Nice Jazz Festival guest artists invited for memorable jams that must not be missed. Located on the famous Promenade des Anglais, the Radisson Blu Hotel Nice, a haven of peace and elegance, completed its renovations in 2018 and is now one of the most beautiful hotels on the bay, combining refinement and pleasure with a panoramic view from the Calade Rooftop Restaurant on the top floor.
