In her 15-year career, Géraldine Laurent has established herself as one of the most brilliant and inspired alto saxophonists of her generation. From her breakthrough in 2005 with her “Time Out Trio”, 10 years ago, Géraldine Laurent became a protégée of Aldo Romano. She brought out two albums on the Dreyfus Jazz label, has revisited the music of Charlie Parker and won many prizes, such as a Victoire du Jazz for the Newcomer category. This year sees her return in force as the leader of her own quartet with the album, At Work.
