A living legend of French jazz, Henri Texier needs no introduction. The hat-wearing double-bass player - who, during his career, has partnered the likes of Chet Baker, Donald Byrd and Dexter Gordon - has a passion for travel, for the images and sounds of far-off places. This time, he and his band, the Sky Dancers, call on the spirit of the American Indians, to take us on a musical journey. A fantastic invitation from a flamboyant sextet.
Line-up: Sébastien Texier: tenor saxophone / François Corneloup: baritone saxophone / Manu Codjia: guitar / Armel Dupas: piano / Louis Moutin: drums / Henri Texier: double bass
